About.
moopWeb.net is the online website for professional web designer and coder and master Chris Coder [me]. I [Chris Coder] have been building websites privately since AOL was still the best choice for dial up and staying up coding all night meant showing up late for homeroom [circa 1997]. I first started working with website code professionally [and getting paid for it] in 2000, maintaining a single department's website at Emporia State University where I was also a student. I have been an independent contractor for all manner of computer work including web work since 2002. In 2008, I accepted a position with an internet venture company where I was able to enhance my self-taught training with the support of many fine web designers and engineers. I would not be the web designer I am today without the training I received with the company, however, the hours were not for me and I elected to go back to private work, which brings us to today.
Chris Coder is my real, legal name - ironic as it may be with my chosen profession. When I am not building websites, fixing websites, or talking friends and family through how to remove spy ware from their computer; I have a full-time job that is completely unrelated to internet marketing [hint: it's actually in the transportation industry]. In my free time, I am, unsurprisingly, a big fan of video games, vegans, and my ridiculously good looking dog, James P. Sullivan.
If you want to hear the story of where, exactly, I came up with the name "moopWeb" and other random web and non web design related commentary, I recommend checking out my personal blog which I will be posting the address to shortly.
